Join the Prince of Peace Music Ministry and help us lead the praise of Almighty
God through song!
We strive to create a vibrant singing assembly at Mass, through choirs and music
presented with both skill and grace. There are various opportunities to participate
and we invite singers and musicians to share their talents. Here's an overview of
what we offer, along with contact information.
The most important requirement is a desire to serve our parish family. To get
started, we conduct a simple music evaluation to assess your abilities and match
them with the needs of our various music groups.
Distinct choirs sing at three weekend Masses:
Community Choir (Saturday 4 pm Mass)
Prince of Peace Choir (Sunday 9 am Mass)
Contemporary Praise Band (Sunday 11 am Mass)

COMMUNITY CHOIR
• Skill Level: Easy •
Singers with good, clear voices are needed. The Community Choir sings a mix of
traditional hymns and well-known liturgical music. Rehearsals are Saturday
afternoons at 3:15 pm, just prior to the start of Mass.
PRINCE OF PEACE CHOIR
• Skill Level: Moderate to Advanced •
Our cathedral-style choir welcomes experienced singers. The ability to read music
is preferred, though not required. Rehearsals are Thursdays, 6 to 7:30 pm.
CONTEMPORARY PRAISE BAND
11 am Sunday Mass
Our Contemporary Praise Band welcomes those able to sing in the style of
contemporary Christian music. Experienced band musicians are also needed.
Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings, 6 to 8 pm.
