Confirmation is a one of the three Sacraments of Initiation, along with Baptism and Holy Eucharist. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace (1285). At Confirmation we are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit to be missionary disciples and witnesses of Christ to the world.
The Confirmation Preparation for teens at Prince of Peace is for 8th-11th graders and begins in January.
