Holy Orders is in reference to the ordination of those individuals ordained for a special role or ministry. Holy Orders in the Catholic Church includes three orders: bishop, priest, and deacon. Bishops and Priests are given the power and authority by the Church to offer sacrifice and forgive sins. Deacons are ordained into service for the Church. The Church regards ordination as a Sacrament.
