Our Online Retreat took place May 15-17, 2020 as a response to the Lockdown measures to ensure that grace was not missing in the lives of those in need.

10:15AM Witness Talk #1: A Personal Story of Faith and Conversion by Tim and Lacy Lowe, a young married couple who have recently become active Catholics and are now parishioners of Prince of Peace.
10:30AM Message: Encountering Jesus, Our Hope by Tom Silliker, the Assistant Director of Discipleship at Prince of Peace.

2:15PM Witness Talk #2: A Personal Story of the Role of a Deacon from the Perspective of the Deacon's Wife by Vicki Gesinski.
2:30PM Message: Finding Jesus, Our Hope, in the Body of Christ (the Church) by Surprise Guest Speaker, Fr Stephen Ogonwa, affectionately called Fr. Seno by our parishioners.

Breakout sessions (4:30-5PM):
1. Children's Breakout Session (or Art Lovers of All Ages)- A fun lesson on the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus including a drawing activity led by Ms. Monica Vega. Click here to see the recording.
2. Pre-Teens & Teen's Session (6th-12th grade)- When Life is Meh! A message of encouragement and call to greatness for youth led by Emilie Fitzsimons.
3. Adults Session- A personal witness on discovering the gift and call to deeper and more consistent prayer led by Judy Kasza.
4. Session for Everyone- Feeding Hope, Nourishing Faith: A reflection and report about the status and work of Social Services Ministry of the Parish during this crisis led by Gretel Abad Ostrowski.

Thank you to all of you for participating in this 1st ever Online Parish Retreat: I Will Not Leave Your Orphans. A special thank you to our Pastor, Fr. Bill, for making this possible, Fr. Kachy our parochial vicar, our speakers, our gifted musicians, and the members of the parish staff who made this wonderful experience a huge success!
